Junior Development
Junior Development is important to The North Launceston Football Club to make sure we are promoting Australian Rules Football in our region and developing the youth with the required skills to play football for enjoyment, and hopefully for some, to one day play AFL and make a career out of the game.
Letters have been sent to all schools sent and bookings are taking place for football in schools and have attended one school already.
Development team letters have been sent for U14 and U15 teams, training booked in, and coaches selected. Games will be played Easter , U15 at Invermay Park April 2 and the first week of school Holidays April 23 the U14 will play
We have Jay Foon, Toby Nankervis, Bryton Mullins and Jay Lockhart in revised Mariner squad and currently have 9 U16 boys in initial U16 academy squad. This is a great effort from club and boys are training very well.
Scott Hawkins has attended a Hawthorn clinic with current players and kids from our area enjoyed the day and our presence.
