Callen Young gets away from his Hobart opponent

A very successful trip South for the Colts and the Seniors

Congratulations to both teams on their victories against Hobart. The Colts 11-5 (81) excelled on the small ground, with Hobart only managing 7-3 (45). Best players on the day included Christian Barnes, Stephen Heppel, Ben Elmer, Mark Walsh, Cam Burrows and Jake Chilcott.

The seniors ran out 28 point winners, and were ably led by Paul O'Shea, Allan O'Sign, Shane Wager, Zac Burt and Geoff Mohr.

Coach Jeff Dunne was rapt with the performance of the seniors. I was happy with the way we went about it - we were prepared for a scrappy game, in-close, with a lot of contact on a small ground. We got off to a good start because we used our handball well.

With a great start in the first quarter with Allan O'Sign kicking 3 of his four goals for the game, the Bombers were in fine form. Two goals in the last quarter by young Zac Burt secured the game. A great team effort by all.
